Campus Preschool to open January
Now, more than ever, many parents have realized that a good preschool is the smartest investment they can make in their children's future.
The Laboratory preschool on the campus of Fairmont State University and Pierpont Community and Technical College announces the opening of preschool September 8. There are still a few openings for eligible 3 and 4 year olds for the 2009-2010 school year.
This year the preschool welcomes Ms. Jill Martino as the new preschool teacher. Ms. Martino is studying the Reggio Emilia approach to early childhood education. Ms. Martino has been the Director of KidzRock Summer program. Ms. Martino has a Master of Arts in Educational Psychology and a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Science.
The three year old class meets Tuesday & Thursday from 8:30am-11:00am. The four year old class times are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 12:00-2:30pm. Tuition is $200 per semester for three -year-olds and $300 per semester for four-year-olds. The preschool follows the college schedule for holidays and any announced closures.
