The Radiologic Technology program at Pierpont Community and Technical College is a hospital-based program of study offered at two nearby hospitals. United Hospital Center (UHC) in Clarksburg and the WVU Hospitals in Morgantown. The core classes consist of onsite lectures and training. Students may apply directly to these hospital programs to earn a certificate or may apply through Pierpont C&TC to earn an Associate's degree while completing the coursework at either hospital. To earn an Associate's degree, students must take an additional 20 credits of coursework which is offered at the main campus and, in some cases, off-site campuses or online.
Students pay a $20.00 application fee to Pierpont C&TC and may to apply to both UHC and WVU programs at the same time. Admission is selective and competitive.
