The Career & Technical Education (CTE) Academic Advisor provides adult academic advising services at the Career and Technical Education Centers in Pierpont's 13-county service region. The advisor assists the adult learner in formulating and clarifying life, career, and educational goals by developing educational plans and options in support of these goals. The advisor also assists students in overcoming academic and financial barriers that could hinder their progress. Working closely with adult learners, the academic advisor monitors their academic and professional progress to support them in reaching their goals.
