GRADUATION INFORMATION

This page will contain information pertaining to several graduation dates. Please check this site often as changes will be reflected here.

THERE IS NO GRADUATION FEE.

Deadlines to apply for graduation:

in order to verify your student information, you must apply for graduation even if you have missed the deadlines posted above. To apply for graduation, please come to the Student Services Center in 248 Hardway Building.  You will need to complete the graduation application and make an appointment for your degree audit. There is no graduation fee.

*August and December graduates are included in the May ceremony.

Degree Audit Appointments:

It is important to apply early or by the deadline for graduation and to complete your degree audit appointment to make sure that you are ready to graduate.  PLEASE NOTE THAT APPOINTMENT TIMES ARE LIMITED AND DO FILL UP. 

To schedule an appointment, please call 367- 4142 and ask for Stephanie or stop in 248 Hardway Building.

Degree Audit Appointments for August/December 2012 Graduates:  January 31, 2012 - April 19, 2012 and June 26, 2012 - August 9, 2012

May 2012 Graduation Notes

• Commencement is Friday, May 11. 2012 at 6:30 p.m. in the Feaster Center.
• Mandatory rehearsal will be at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, May 11, 2012 in the Feaster Center.
• In order to particapate in the ceremony, you must return your Reader Card (mailed or given to you after you apply for graduation) to the Student Services Center, room 248 Hardway Building.
• You must order your cap and gown from the book store by March 23, 2012.  Please contact the book store at 304-333-3636 for assistance.
• Commencement attire is semi-formal. 
• A reception will follow the commencement ceremony for all graduates and families.
• Tickets are not required for the ceremony or reception.
