This program is presented in partnership with the WV Small Business Development Center and the US Small Business Administration. The program is delivered through a series of seminars that focus on topics and issues related to the acquisition and management of federal contracts. Participants gain a broad understanding of the federal acquisition regulations and processes. This detailed knowledge is invaluable for those companies already performing federal contracts or those who want to do so. There are numerous requirements that contractor’s must manage after award and before final close-out. Contract management requires not only an understanding of the contractual instrument but also many of the regulations that comprise the document. This segment will address all of those requirements including applicable labor law; patents, data and copyrights; bonds and insurance; auditing, modifications, subcontracting; management of government property, quality requirements transportation and many, many more. This course is Segment 6 of the 6-part Federal Acquisition Management (FAM) Certificate Program. |
