DSST (Dantes)
DSST (Dantes Subject Standardized Test) exams are administered by more than 1,200 colleges, universities and military facilities worldwide and are recommended for college credit by the American Council on Education (ACE). The exams are conveniently delivered in a user-friendly Internet-Based Testing (IBT) format or in traditional paper and pencil. The IBT platform enables testing using an existing computer connected to the internet and secured via a lockdown browser.
DSST Fees*
Students are responsible for knowing if their college or university accepts these exams for credit.
Exam Fee: $80
Credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB) are the only acceptable payment method for the exam itself.
Administration Fee: $40
This fee is payable directly to the test center on date of the exam. Payment to the Testing Center can be made by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover), check, or money order made payable to Pierpont Community & Technical College or PCTC.
