Current high school students can get a head start on their college education through Pierpont Community & Technical College.
Dual Credit
High school juniors and seniors can take dual credit classes during their normal high school instructional day. Successful completion of these classes results in both high school and college credit. Click here for more information about dual credit classes.
EDGE
Earn a Degree Graduate Early (EDGE) is a program that allows high school students to get a jump on earning free community college credits while still in high school. In some cases, students can arrive at college with half of their associate degree already earned, saving in the neighborhood of $3,000. EDGE courses are generally career technical classes found in the skilled pathway. Click here for more information about dual credit classes.
