Welcome, Pierpont Students!

Those of you who have declared an Associate of Arts or Associate of Applied Science degree are already being served by faculty advisors particular to your academic program.

The Pierpont Advising Center serves those students who are still seeking a major OR who are interested in a major for which they are not yet eligible.  If you are one of these students, your advising designation is "Liberal Studies/General" and you are the chief focus of the Pierpont Advising Center.

There is a lot to learn when starting college and when registering for classes. This is where you'll need the help of the advisors.  Your advisors will assist you in selecting a major that matches your skills and interests and will help you select courses that will get you to that diploma as quickly as possible.

The Pierpont academic advisors are happy to meet with you in person or do advising through phone or email--whatever fits your schedule best.   We know  how busy you are with your families, your jobs, and your other interests and responsibilities.

The Advising Center's chief role is to help you transition successfully out of the Liberal Studies/General program into a specific academic major.  Ask as many questions as you need to.  We mean it.

We look forward to helping you become a Pierpont Community & Technical College graduate!
