Academic Exploration Days (Select Days)
On select days, throughout the regular semester, academic-based Exploration Days will be held on the main campus in Fairmont, WV. Exploration Days are an excellent opportunity for families to visit and experience our campus in full-swing, and in a small group setting. The highlight of Exploration Days is the departmental visit, which includes an opportunity for families to meet in small groups with faculty and/or academic deans. A complimentary lunch will also be included.
Campus Visitation Day Events (Saturdays bi-annually)
Campus Visitation Day is a full-day open house held for students (and their families) who are deciding where to continue their education. The robust Visitation Day event is a great opportunity for prospective students to check out both institutions and to get to know us better. The event is offered on Saturdays twice per year (once in fall and once in spring). Those attending will have the chance to tour campus, enjoy a complimentary lunch, and receive information on admissions, financial aid, and housing. An academic fair is also offered so that students can speak with faculty about the major(s) he or she is most interested in.
