Pierpont Community & Technical College is pleased to provide this student aid calculator to assist you in estimating your costs to attend Fairmont State.  Results are based on 2011-12 Cost of Attendance figures and student aid eligibility requirements which are subject to change.  These results should assist you in determining an estimate of your out-of-pocket expense to attend Pierpont.

*Tuition and Fees includes $110 Facilities Fees. Not all students pay the full fee.  The fee is prorated at $10 per credit hour for courses taken at main Campus in Fairmont, the Caperton Center and the National Aerospace Education Center. 

**Fees based on double occupancy rate and 15 meals per week.
Note: all fees are for academic year 2012-2013 and are subject to change

Notes on Costs:

Full Time - defined as 12 or more credit hours each term

Tuition - amount for 12 credit hours or more

Books/Supplies - equal to the average from a random sample of student schedules

On-Campus Room/Board - average room costs for college residence hall and meal plan

Off-Campus Room/Board - equals the average rent for the academic year, including reasonable utilities, and an average monthly cost for food

Transportation - an amount sufficient to cover daily driving costs to classes and minimal trips to permanent residence

Personal - miscellaneous personal items for the academic year; commuter budget also includes an allowance for costs associated with maintaining student in parents' household

The following additional fees, among others, may be charged as applicable:

  • Aviation Technology Fee
  • Facility Fee
