Results are based on 2012-13 Cost of Attendance figures and student aid eligibility requirements which are subject to change. These results should assist you in determining an estimate of your out-of-pocket expense to attend Pierpont.
Win the Blair and Sue Montgomery Scholarship!
For the third year, West Virgina high school seniors have the opportunity to compete for Pierpont Community & Technical College's premier academic scholarship that covers tuition and fees, room and board and a $1,000 textbook stipend.
Here's how you can join the competition:
To qualify, you must be a current high school senior who lives in West Virginia. You must have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.5 and have an ACT composite of 26 or SAT composite of 1190. You have to be a PROMISE Scholarship recipient.

To be considered, you have to apply for admission to Pierpont.
(Your admissions file must be complete, which means you have to complete your general application and send us your high school transcript and test scores.)

Once you have filled out the applcation, please mail it to the Pierpont Office of Admissions, 1201 Locust Ave., Fairmont, WV 26554.
You also need to include an essay with your application.
This is a competitive scholarship. Once you have applied for admission and for the scholarship by following the steps above, you will be contacted to schedule an on-campus interview.
The Montgomery Scholar will be chosen based on academic qualifications, community service activities and leadership involvement in conjunction with the essay, admissions counselor recommendation and personal interview. Only one Pierpont student will be selected to receive this premier scholarship.
*Students who receive the scholarship must maintain a 3.0 or higher cumulative GPA and must maintain their PROMISE Scholarship eligibility. Awards renewable for 1 year.
