Continuing Education

Continuing Education is lifelong learning beyond a degree or certificate program that ensures professionals have the latest knowledge in their fields.
Continuing Education programs are occupation based and offer credentialed skills that today’s workforce need to be effective and marketable.  High demand occupations in healthcare, energy, and information technology as well as entrepreneurs are currently experiencing growth and need qualified workers.  These programs are open to anyone wishing to achieve a recognized credential to start a career or advance in their current profession.

Pierpont Community & Technical College has also partnered with World Ed to provide short-term online training and professional development courses. A full complement of high-quality programs are offered in multiple career categories.  Most are self-paced, although some provide a virtual learning experience led by a qualified instructor in a cohort setting.  Many prepare students to attain a national or industry recognized credential through assessment testing or certification exams.
