Due to incliment weather, ALL Pierpont classes are REMOTE today. All faculty and staff will be REMOTE as well.

Per Dr. Hancock: Due to inclement weather, Pierpont will operate on a two-hour delay tomorrow, January 25. All faculty, staff and students will report two hours later than usual. All classes prior to 10 a.m. are cancelled. Beginning at 10 a.m., all schedules will return to normal.

Per Interim President Dr. Anthony Hancock, please be advised that due to the weather, Pierpont Community & Technical College employees will be working remotely tomorrow (January 18). We will resume normal business hours on Wednesday, January 19.

The National Weather Service has upgraded its Winter Weather Advisory to a Winter Storm Warning for North Central West Virginia starting at 3 p.m. today (Jan. 6) and into tomorrow morning. Per Interim President Dr. Anthony Hancock, please be advised that Pierpont Community & Technical College will be working remotely today (Jan. 6) beginning at 1 p.m. and all day tomorrow (Friday, Jan. 7). When leaving campus today, all employees are encouraged to take home any equipment and any work that may be needed to work remotely.  Employees should contact their supervisor regarding any questions about their potential work from home assignment. Supervisors, please assign tasks to employees as appropriate to their remote work capabilities. Back to normal business hours will take effect on Monday.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for North Central West Virginia starting at 3 p.m. tomorrow (Jan. 6) and into Friday morning (Jan. 7). Per Interim President Dr. Anthony Hancock, please be advised that Pierpont Community & Technical College administration is monitoring the situation and will determine if any action will be needed, such as dismissing employees early on Thursday or asking employees to work remotely Friday.
