The Electrocardiograph Technology Advanced Skill Set program will prepare students to be electrocardiographic technicians. An electrocardiograph technician operates the equipment that records and measures the activity of the heart. These recordings are used to assist cardiologists and physicians in diagnosing and treating cardiac problems.
This program will allow students to develop the skills necessary to become an electrocardiographic technician within the health care system, including hospitals, physicians’ offices, and clinics.
