Pierpont Community & Technical College’s Center for Workforce Education provides a variety of non-credit courses and programs designed to provide a student with skill upgrades, certifications, and training for many purposes, including gainful employment, salary increases and/or advancement within a company or industry.
Courses and programs are offered based on workforce needs and can be delivered in a variety of ways including online, instructor-led and hybrid (a combination of face-to-face and online).

Home Inspector Course
The Home Inspector course will provide you the knowledge and skills necessary for the Certification of Home Inspectors for the State of West Virginia.

Landscape Technician Bootcamp
This is a National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) vetted course, which consists of 40 hours of both classroom instruction with hands-on exercises.
The class covers landscaping fundamentals/techniques, tool identification, turf fertilization, tool identification/function, OSHA 10 training and much more.

Learn how to support your co-workers, friends and family experiencing mental health challenges, and how to identify and respond to the common signs and symptoms.

Pierpont’s Center for Workforce Education works with companies and organizations to develop programs focused on their specific training needs that ensure employees receive the knowledge and skills necessary to increase performance or to meet industry standards of excellence.
