Student Activities at Pierpont Community & Technical College is a way students can leave their mark on our institution.

The student activities mission statement is, “the purpose of the office of Student Activities is to foster student success and promote an engaged campus community through participation in co-curricular activities, student organizations, and student government. This enables productive citizenship through leadership opportunities, diversity awareness, ethical decision making, and problem solving”.

With activities occurring regularly both on-campus and virtually, there is something for everyone to get involved!

Some popular past activities include the Diversity Summit, Welcome Week , and Finals Week De-Stress Fest.

Student Government Association

About Us

The Student Government Association is your voice on campus, and is responsible for representing the Pierpont Community & Technical College student body.  In this organization, we encourage you to share ideas, concerns, and opinions in order to make a better campus community for you, and your fellow students.

If you are interested in becoming a part of our organization, there are many ways to become involved.  Depending upon your interests, we can find a place for you to expand your network beyond the classroom through attending meetings, organizing events, pursuing leadership opportunities, and serving the community through volunteer work.

We hope you will give us the opportunity to help you grow personally and professionally through experience within the SGA and throughout your time at Pierpont. Open meetings are hosted bi-weekly virtually on Microsoft Teams.” All meetings are open to all students.  Check your student email for meeting information.
