Pierpont Community & Technical College offers students a chance to work for the institution through a federal work study and non-work study opportunities.

Federal Work-Study (FWS) is a need-based program that provides jobs for undergraduate students with financial need, allowing them to earn money to help pay education expenses. The program encourages community service work and work related to the student’s course of study.

Pierpont offers a variety of positions to students with openings in just about every department and campus location. We also have off-campus community service jobs.

Testimonials

“[Student Employment] has been a godsend in these times. It is hard to hold a day job that will cater to a changing schedule. When going from class to work, it can be helpful to go just down the hall to work. It is also nice to maintain ties with faculty.”  – Jayson Murg

“Student employment has helped me as a student by giving me an occupation that allows me to combine my studies and work all at once. I think the student employment program is beneficial to students because it works around your school schedule and allows you to stay on campus after class for your job to relive the stress of having to find time in a student’s busy schedule to travel and find a ride to work. I 100% recommend the student employment to other students, I have done it the past 3 semesters and do not regret a second of it.” –  Justin Clelland

“I would definitely recommend the student employment program to other students because of how much it has helped me this year. From money, to just having a little bit of study time, has been great this year.” – Kaylie Gower
