Helping you take care of your health is very important to us! That is why Pierpont has support services for their students for both mental and physical health care needs.
Pierpont has partnered with MVA (Monongalia Valley Health Association) to provide student health care.
MVA is located at 1322 Locust Ave and the student must present a valid ID.
Students with urgent needs will be seen first. Students should be patient and realize that some waiting may be necessary. Referrals to outside health care providers or local medical facilities will be made when deemed necessary.
We bill insurance first. If x-rays are ordered or lab tests, they are at the student’s expense.

We provide this to all students, including students of diverse racial, ethnic, sexual/gender, physical and mental abilities, ages, religious/spiritual beliefs, and socioeconomic backgrounds, to assist them in acquiring the skills, knowledge, and attitudes needed to become effective students, responsible citizens, productive workers, and lifelong learners.
