Kayla Hawkinberry serves as the Classified Staff Representative to the Pierpont Community & Technical College Board of Governors. A proud alumna of Pierpont, she earned her Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice in December 2021. Though her professional journey took a different direction, her unwavering commitment to serving others continues to guide her work.

In her current role as a Records Specialist and Data Processor in the Registrar’s Office, Kayla is responsible for a wide range of academic functions. Her duties include creating and updating course sections, processing grade modifications and substitutions, managing reinstatements, coordinating room reservations, addressing student inquiries, and processing transcripts. She is known for delivering accurate, timely, and supportive service to students, faculty, and staff.

Kayla has been recognized for her outstanding customer service and was named to the Dean’s List during her time as a student. Her dedication to excellence and her passion for helping others are hallmarks of her professional ethos. As a member of the Board of Governors, she is committed to representing and advocating for the interests of classified staff across the college.
