Learn About Our Accreditors

Pierpont Community, you are invited to an important campus event that will help you better understand the role of institutional accreditation and how it directly impacts you and your education at Pierpont.
We’re hosting two sessions titled: Learn About Our Accreditors – Who Are They and Why Are They Coming
At these sessions, we’ll introduce the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) — Pierpont’s institutional accreditor — and explain why their upcoming visit in Fall 2025 matters. You’ll gain insight into how accreditation works, what it means for your academic experience, and how students play a vital role in the process.
