Cierra Roberts serves as the Student Representative on the Pierpont Community & Technical College Board of Governors for the 2026-2027 academic year. She is a student in Pierpont’s Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program and is expected to graduate in May 2027. She will begin her clinical training in November and is actively involved in student leadership and service across the College.

Roberts serves as President of the Student Government Association (SGA) and Secretary of the MLT Student Association. She is also a tutor for the School of Health Sciences, providing academic support to fellow students.

Before enrolling at Pierpont, Roberts served as a Security Forces member at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida. In that role, she was responsible for protecting military personnel, property, and sensitive assets. Her military experience provided a foundation in law enforcement, emergency response, physical security, threat assessment, and safety protocols in a high-stakes, fast-paced environment.

A graduate of Petal High School in Petal, Mississippi, Roberts graduated with honors and participated in JROTC as a cadet. She currently resides in Grafton, West Virginia, with her fiancé, Kyle Gerkin, and their three dogs.
