Important Financial Aid Information
Effective for the 2021-2022 academic year, all financial aid will be disbursed to a student’s account 15 business days after the start of the term. This means any refund due to a student would be sent at that time. Students are able to charge required books and supplies to their student account via the school's Follett bookstore prior to the beginning of each semester. If any student has an emergency need for a financial aid refund prior to beginning the semester, they should contact the financial aid office.
Pierpont is excited to announce that we will offer a direct deposit refund option for the 2021-2022 academic year. You will receive more information regarding your refund options, and instructions on how to designate your choice, in the upcoming months.
Did you know that our financial aid office can review your information from the FAFSA and make necessary changes if your circumstances are different now than what they were at the time of FAFSA completion? Please contact our financial aid office by calling 304-367-4907 or emailing financialaid@pierpont.edu to request a Special Circumstance Form to complete if your family information has changed. Some examples of qualifying events are: COVID-19 related circumstances, loss of employment, divorce, death of immediate family member).
